     Jane Hill’s comedy is sharp, intelligent, deceptively low-key but with a real sting in the tail. Her timing, her verbal dexterity and her easy, confident stage presence make her an audience favourite. Now in her mid-forties, Jane has been on the comedy circuit since October 2005 and brings a wealth of experience and maturity to the stage.

    Jane has more than 200 gigs under her belt, including two Edinburgh Fringe runs (2007 and 2008). She regularly performs 10, 15 and 20 minute spots on the London comedy circuit and around the country. She also runs the Electric Mouse Cambridge comedy club with Rob Coleman, where she regularly comperes.

    Jane is also a published novelist, with three psychological thrillers to her name. The most recent, Can’t Let Go, is set partly in the world of stand-up comedy and features a nail-biting denouement at the Edinburgh Fringe. She previously worked in commercial local radio for twenty years - reading the news, presenting music shows and attempting to train DJs to be witty.

About me:

I've been gigging as a stand-up comedian since October 2005. I'm also a novelist and have published three psychological thrillers, Grievous Angel , The Murder Ballad and Can't Let Go. I worked in commercial radio for twenty years as a journalist, programme director and music presenter. I live in Walthamstow.................
