Bandwise, it's just me with my piano, a talented cellist, and a great backup guitarist/singer (Michelle Luchese). When I'm not singing and writing songs, I am writing fairy tales, poetry, short stories, and reviews/articles on film and music. Or I am at yoga doing crazy upside down stuff. I love singing Broadway and dancing (especially tap and step) too. That's my life in a nutshell. (oh and teaching music and writing reviews on screenplays all day)
The Power of Silly Putty and Lipstick Kisses for US fans The Power of Silly Putty and Lipstick Kisses is a book of wonderfully crafted psychedelic poetry that opens up the imagination to new ways of thinking. The reader is tossed into imaginary worlds of tiny talking bear societies in honey jars and a microscopic mermaid city. Images such as a gingerbread house inside an eye or diving into primordial soup hitting earth's zygote are the types of visuals that are speckled throughout the book. Influenced by Leonard Cohen and Allen Ginsberg, these poems have the ability to entertain and inspire.
