Janel is known in the house music community for her talents as a DJ and vocalist. Currently, she is focusing her creative energy in the studio and meticulously honing her production skills. Her talent has lead her to work with producers such as DeMarkus Lewis, Glen Underground and Alix Alvarez. Her DJ sets caused King Britt of Sylk 130 to anoint her "Superstar", and grabbed press attention from UR Chicago as well as URB, where she was listed in the publication's April 2004 issue of The Next 100 Artists. By early 2000, Janel was already being featured at prominent venues in and around the Mid-west. The producer, DJ, singer built her reputation in the Chicago scene by spinning in the city's best hot spots: SmartBar, Sound Bar, Red no 5, and Zentra. She eventually found herself jet-setting to locals across the US, Europe, and Asia. Her unique blend of energy, talent and passion meshes well with the creative lifestyle in Austin, Texas where she works tirelessly in the studio producing deep and soulful sounds.
