  • Bio

In the wake of the somewhat rough and primitive 4. album, Afterglow from 99, the ride to come was destined towards the opposite side of the forest. Stripped bare and soul cleansed, we decided to take a deep breath and behave good. The next recordings would skip the tough for the gentle - trade 'cool' for the mellow and dim. This new string of songs seemed far more melodic. They asked for increased sensibility and needed another kind of vision. We figured that the answer had to be found somewhere in the cross between acoustic guitar and lyrical 'keys'. Drum programming would be met by real kit and percussion, as the withdrawn electric guitars could expect assistance from different types of wind instruments. Various basses would be used, , , the fretless, the double bass - and 2 ladies were 'flown in' to feed the reviving harmonies milk and honey. Pretty soon a series of unforeseen pictures began to bloom - intriguing and enigmatic to explore. If the aggressive bents were fading, the scenic voltage was liable to rise. It took some time to finish the voyage, but eventually we got home. Obliging and hovering, (we're even airborne again) – suddenly this UFO appeared. 11 tunes of life, love and fate. 11 ways to enter, , , or head off. Take your time and enjoy ~
