Singer/Songwriter based in Seattle Washington. After receiving her degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, Janet headed west to the San Francisco Bay Area. Her most significant project during her 8-year stay in the Bay: The 12-piece Latin/Funk band Los Angelitos, a popular headliner during the 1990's. Los Angelitos picked up many awards during their time in the Bay Area scene including a BAMMIE (a.k.a., California Music Award) for Best World Beat band in 1997. Performing up and down the west coast, Los Angelitos shared the stage opening for Bootsy Collins, WAR, Ozomatli and Morris Day and the Time. Their original music appears in episodes of CBS television's Nash Bridges.
Janet has played with some of the greatest working musicians around while opening for some of the best artists to date. Former band mates include members of The Counting Crows, Spearhead, Third Eye Blind, The Time and Hall & Oats. Notable gigs as an opening act include: Alanis Morissette, Macy Gray, Melissa Etheridge, Shelby Lynne, STOMP, Boz Skaggs, Dr. John, Joe Henderson and Dianne Reeves.
Janet lends her vocals to television and radio ads with Dreamteam Jingles. She is also back in the studio again recording with Chris Davis & The Lovecraft.
