| General | Spending time with my kids, my kids are coolest people I know.
Playing with my friends which usually involves drinking hot chocolate, taking the piss out of others and ourselves - having a laugh.
Travelling to different parts of the world. Love being able to listen and speak my other lanugage - Dutch.
Practicing Moksha Yoga, Bikram yoga and teaching Moksha yoga.
Reading, plays, musicals - most things live.
Enjoying nature, consuming chocolate and playing with creative stuff.
Writing stories & poetry, love to break rules, smash down stereotypes and reinvent paradigms. And asking questions - in the hope of finding answers:)
I like taking photos of landscape, plants and animals with plans to use them in future books.
Learning to meet new people and breaking down fears, even though it scares the crap out of me.
| | Music | I love most music, I know not a very cool answer. I very rarely know who the artist/band is, it isn't important to me, I either like the song or I don't. Although there are plenty of songs I like by the same artists. I always write to music, it connects me with the frequency that helps me write. One of my muses is a musician.

It isn’t uncommon for people to try to be someone they are not. Why? Do we sometimes only feel good about ourselves if we believe we’re better than someone else? Are we then afraid, to be honest, about anything that might make us look bad? There is no freedom in that.
Seems to me that there is too much stigma associated with making mistakes and the mistakes themselves. I write about mine in the hope I can be free to be myself and hopefully help free some others.
JaneInside is a true story of a teenager who created a character to protect herself. It follows my thoughts and experiences with boys, friends, popularity, sex, drugs, alcohol, parties and death. Filled with diary entries, poems and doodles. Written for teenagers, parents and anyone in-between. It’s an honest and true account of being a teen.
