this one should be pretty obvious... music, photography. Other stuff too, but this page is set up to be about my work, which is music and photography!!!
I wind up shooting most of the bands that I love, so you can probably just look at my myspace photos, my "real" website, or my work in the magazines I shoot for to figure this one out... Spoon, The Beatles, Rilo Kiley, Weezer, Old 97's, Rhett Miller, Tah Dah's, The Polyphonic Spree, Tripping Daisy, Antonín Dvorák, Deathray Davies, Wagner, Robert Earl Keen, Little Grizzly, Ben Kweller, Nirvana, Jimmy Eat World, Dixie Chicks, RUN-DMC, Bloodhound Gang, Beck, Bowling For Soup, Bjork, Eisley, Chomsky, Dolly Parton, Jerry Reed, The Flaming Lips, Baboon, Built To Spill, Boogie Down Productions, Sparta, John Anderson, Handel, Mozart, Los Tigres Del Norte, Superdrag, Supergrass, Blur, Cake, Grandaddy, Captain and Tennille, Devo, Willie Nelson, The Roots, The Beastie Boys, The Beach Boys, Herb Alpert, Will Johnson, Gogol Bordello, Hagfish, Ben Folds, and on and on and on... really, I could make this list go a few pages if I really wanted.
Movies
I like movies, but have trouble finding the time to sit through one. My list of "want-to see" movies is ten times longer than my list of favorites...
Television
yeah, I watch it.
Books
I don't want to seem dumb, but I don't read many fiction, biography, or history books. I do love almost any how-to book, because I love learning new things...
Heroes
the word hero is over-used these days, diluting it's true meaning. There are real heroes out there, and most of them are unsung...
I'm a pro photog who'd still be holding a camera even if I wasn't making money at it. I've shot for a wide range of clients including Spin Magazine, The Dallas Morning News, Slam Magazine, Last Beat Records, and Jive Records, among others...
About me: I'm a full-time photographer who has been shooting professionally (and lucky enough to be paying the bills in this tough business) since 1996 or 1997. I love music and have shot for several music mags, record labels, and under-the-radar bands who deserve to be in those music mags and on those record labels...

Who I'd like to meet: *** I want to meet new bands, but I WILL NOT add any band or person that I do not already know or have not photographed before. I don't care how many friends you already have or how great your songs are. You are just wasting your time. The only exception would be adding a new Texas band/musician, but then you still have to sound good to be added and have a full-length album available for fans, since I also use this page to help spot new local bands to review/feature in HB magazine. Send your CD's for review consideration to the main Harder Beat offices. ***

I really never go out and party for New Year's Eve... But I do plan on coming over. Just trying to figure out how to get there. Plus I need your address.
Thanks for being a part of my life! Hope the holidays bring you joy & the new year jumps off with new beginnings with even better things to come! - cher: Musico Roots
After going through your photos, all I can say is that you are -- hands down -- the best music photographer, ever. It is an honor to know someone with such great talent.
