Janis Walton comes from a long line of performers and artists. From poets and writers to filmmakers and vaudeville stars, Janis grew up in a family environment that encouraged the arts. Her credits include numerous stage performances as a soloist, actor and ensemble member. Janis began recording at age 8 and continued to train and perfect her craft as a vocalist until she suddenly realized, she was actually an actor who could sing rather than vice versa. She continued to train vocally but acting was suddenly in the mix. She has directed and performed theatrically for over 20 years now and her love is definitely the arts. Janis teaches voice and directs theatre in the community. She also works for the Sun Valley Symphony.
Kaci Rigney also comes from a family of performers, song writers, and artists. With family members who have interviewed and sang for Johnny Carson as well as at The Grand Ole Opry, to annual family reunion jam sessions, Kaci was encouraged to develop her talents, both as a vocalist and as a composer and lyricist throughout her growing up years.
Kaci has a BA degree in Vocal Music from California Baptist College (now University). She has an extensive list of recording credits as well as live performances with artists such as The Gary Bonner Singers, Steve Amerson, Babbie Mason, Don Moen, and many others. Kaci is now singing with the Eugene Opera Company, in Eugene, Oregon. She performed in The Magic Flute, with them December 29, 30, 31, 2007.
