Jankie Fardal are a 7 piece celtic, folk, acoustic band who play a blend of traditional music with a modern feel. The band who formed in the summer of 2006 have been fortunate enough to back up some very popular acts such as John tams, Julie fowlis, The Men They Couldn't Hang, 3 Daft Monkeys and Mick Hanly. This year the band have been busy with bookings for pubs and weddings, and play a wide selection of cover versions, traditional music and a growing selection of their own material. If you like vibrant, fast, toe-tapping and beer-guzzling music Jankie fardal are the band for you. Traditional music in modern times. NOT A SANDAL IN SIGHT!
