About me: I've been a writer since the third grade, when I wrote about my pet turtle Frisky, who got lost in our house for a whole month! My teacher said, you're going to be a writer when you grow up! And this was a teacher who didn't like me! I only wrote for myself for a long time, but I started again seriously, while reading to my three-year-old son, Konrad.
I fell in love with books such as GEORGE AND MARTHA by James Marshall and FROG AND TOAD by Arnold Lobel. I thought it would be easy. Afterall, I was a straight A science major at University of Texas at Arlington. It was three years before I had my first short story published by a children's magazine.LOL!
I am now living my dreams, with many books published with great companies and doing lots of school programs and speaking events.
