  • Books

In my youth, my favorite books was just about anything by John Steinbeck with Tortilla Flat and Cannery Row being my favorites. Recently, I really enjoyed reading The Year of Living Religiously. It's a humorous book about a guy who lives a year in the life following the Old Testament. Currently, I am reading Richard Dawkins "The God Delusion" and Dan Ariely's "Predictably Irrational" which is about the irrational decision making of consumers. I also enjoy being the subject in a chapter in a published fantasy retrospective. Oh, and Freakonomics was highly entertaining and accessible goodness.
  • Heroes

Richard Dawkins. His power of common sense, logic and reason are all too rare.

About me:

Bread good, fire bad. I'm just your typical hunter/gatherer: I'm not very smart, but I can lift heavy objects. Jack of all trades, master of none.

I work at a startup, I tell bad jokes and I have no idea what I'm doing in life, but it's cool because I'll eventually figure it out.

I work out at Crossfit Silicon Valley 5 days a week, run on the weekends, have a full time job and try to find time to be social. It's not easy.

Who I'd like to meet:

I don't exactly know who I'd like to meet, but I know they'd have to be intelligent, have the ability to reason and use critical thinking skills, yet be fun, open minded, relaxed and want to do crazy things on a whim.
