Greetings folks.
Sorry for the delay in giving you an update.
I have been at work... I am mixing the new cd right now and also working on the artwork.
Going through the process of editing it, mixing it and preparing an outlet to release it sometimes can be very long and difficult..but be patienced .
It will be avaiable on January 2009 .
I'm also writing and studying new tunes for a Trio Album and working with my fellow students with Contemporary Music Ensemble Classes and doing lot of teaching !

NOTES FOR MY NEW CD STRANGE MEETINGS
It took me 2 years to write down all the parts with Finale and at the end I was almost forget how to play very difficult guitar parts.
I was really focus on arrangements and sometimes I was feeling that I will never go to an end especially when you need a lot of time to practicing.
Writing and reharsing are two different separate process , when you focus on writing and arranging sometimes you do not have time to play seriously the guitar for weeks and when it-s time you feel like ….Jesus Christ I can-t even play part that I wrote ! it-s not a good sensation I can tell you.
Anyway things always come to an end hopefully and now in 2007 I feel like I-ve made it.
Most of the tunes were written beetwen 2005 and 2006 but I-ve never got the chance to record them, gigs, teaching and touring took me away from my work l
This is my first experience where all the parts are written down on paper and it-s been very stimulating to experiment.
Tunes sounds with very strange melody, and arrangement are really experimental , I really wanted to make an album like this. I don-t know where I will go for the next but maybe some more trio live stuff. I don-t know .
I used Pro Tools and Reason for the most of this work and we recorded all drums and bass parts at Sunflower Studios.
Most of the guitars were recorded at my home studio together with all keys and programming synth during 2007/08.

My way of playing tremendously changed now ! But it's fun to listen again to my old tunes. I hope u enjoy too.

I'm working on final things such as artworks and mastering of this new record. It's came up very good.
I will upload as soon some tracks of the new cd on My Space. The cd will be avaiable aprox. on October 2008 for the on-line download and in stores on December 2008.

Hiram Bullock passed away on Friday July 25th in Manhattan.
One of the best artist that me and my brother played together back in 2004.
We really had great time with him such as musican and human being.

Hiram Bullock passed away on Friday July 25th in Manhattan.
He was 52.
His life will be celebrated at a Memorial on
Tuesday August 5th, 6PM
at the SGI Buddhist Cultural Center
7 East 15th Street (right off Union Square) in New York City
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to organizations that help protect nature, especially the Polar Bear (Hiram loved Polar bears!).
Some of these organizatons include World Wildlife Fund and The Great Bear Foundation

During my career I had the fortune to work a lot as session player and sideman with so many great artist such as guitarist and singer Melvin Taylor, Dean Brown , Stef Burns and the great Hiram Bullock. Here some videos !
I do private lessons in the summer just for andvanced and well-trained guitarist with solid foundations in rhythm, chords , scales and reading.
If you decide to study with me send me a short curriculum and tell me about your musical experiences and abilities and what do you expect from my lessons.
Living across USA and Europe has performed, toured and recorded with international artists such as: Favored Nation’s artist Stef Burns, Hiram Bullock, Dean Brown, Melvin Taylor and many others.
Jan studied classical guitar and achieved a Bachelor in Classical Guitar at Music Conservatory of Udine and also a Berklee College of Music Graduated.
He ha been awarded with the Gary Burton Scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston and won another Scholarship at Guitar Session Clinics at Berklee studying with Mick Goodrick ,Ben Monder ,Tim Miller, Dave Fuze, Rick Peckham , Jeff Perry among others.
He graduated with a Guitar Master from Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Jan is costantly touring Europe with various artists and his trio. Plus he teaches modern jazz/rock, harmony, improvisation and Music Ensemble at Emil Komel Music School.
