Hi Japanese Baby! I saw you guys at Pier 23 and thought you guys were awesome. The songs sounded very authentic. Hope we get a chance to do a gig together and you get a chance to see us this Thursday...let's keep the Pier 23 Tribute night going strong! Check out the show this Thursday (9/25) at Pier 23 Cafe. We're debuting a few new songs requested by the fans so don't miss this one!
We think Robert should be considered for the Outstanding Contribution To Music award at the 2009 Brit Awards. This year he has completed a sell out stadium world tour, he has had a career in music spanning almost 30 years, he has influenced many of the modern bands of today and without him there would be a whole genre of music which wouldn't exist. He has helped and managed several other successful bands, he writes all his own music and he also does lots of work for charity. In our opinion he should have won it years ago. So please could you all email the email address below and suggest they should think of Robert Smith for the 2009 Outstanding Contribution To Music Brit award and give them your reasons (don't copy and paste ours otherwise they will twig). Hopefully they will listen to us.

hey, thanks for leaving the nice comment over at the old Chronic Town page. sadly, Stipend refuses to do the reunion thing...everyone else was on-board. and unfortunately, no one else could do it like he could.
