The Fish

Japanese Fighting Fish: 4 fisherman sold their trawler bought new gear and made a band.

As Karlosts journey continued, a marble or 2 lighter, he began to write again with his trusty FISH. Phil and Joe adding the pounding rhythm to the magic of Karlost and Gareths riffs.

Soon there will be a new Album, it will be called Day Bombs, the story of a world exploding into a spiral of the unknown... as a generation or 3 fight to stay afloat in an ever changing environment. Chaos calm Loss Love Security Peers Banks Teachers Parents media are all at the peril of this story, not to mention a few other nasty characters of who we darent speak of until its release.

After the resounding success of their first album the lovely people at Vandal records have asked for the follow up to Just before we go MAD. Many hours have passed, with our Bloody fingers we have the greatest excuse to make Sense of it all.

We will be spreading this tail across the country in late April early May keep an eye on our gig listings for information, The album with be released in September. The story continues..... "A boiling pot of Madness and brilliance melded together", "Its like being in the theatre"....

Press

"In short, they’re absolutely mental. And bloody brilliant"
"The influence of their fellow Leodensians is obvious too: elements of PABH’s abrasive riff-driven rock clash with a ¡Forward, Russia!-esque penchant for unconventional song structures, and there’s a dash of This Et Al’s sonic intensity and general oddness sprinkled on top for good measure.
Though even though the album’s inspirations are obvious, it succeeds not simply through amalgamating its myriad influences but by pushing the boat out further"

Scan LUSU,

Verdict: A stunning blend of diverse styles and influences. While sure to win over many, seems just as certain to confound others.

"What a voice, I may even play this record twice in one show"
Loz Guest - Kerrang Radio

"Its Big"

"Watching Japanese Fighting Fish is like being on Class A drugs"

"...One of only three bands to impress me that i’ve known nothing about before hand, a great live band... Japanese Fighting Fish are wicked"
