"Produced by ¡Forward, Russia!'s Tom Woodhead, debut single A Fire Born In Dallas (released on the Pay For The Piano imprint) finds post-hardcore and prog influences welded together to create a sound that is both vulnerable and self-assured. Admittedly, the usual influences of Fugazi and At The Drive-In are worn pretty obviously, but the band are far more than mere copyists.
Indeed, at their single launch they offered an intense and impassioned performance, with snare cracks and upstrokes reverberating around the venue.
Ever Since The Lake Caught Fire, it would seem, have more than enough firepower in their sonic arsenal to kick some of the music world's feted young pretenders into touch. " The Metro

Hello!
Thanks for your kind comments! We bloody love Grimsby, what a town!
Do you have any plans to take a jaunt down here at any point? Would be top to play together!
I like the diving masks. The video game influence is quite evident and an interesting source of inspiration. As an old geezer it's curious to see how younger bands incorporate the sounds I remember from year ago. Nostalgia is ever-encroaching. DNA reminded me a bit of early Devo and I also enjoyed jfsn00b. Have fun and all the best to you. K
"The Most Wonderfully Creepy and Enthralling Album of 2006! You know K. Ross' "That Dirty Clown" employs analog tape manipulation and other no-fi atmospherics to craft a narrative of disturbing fluidity."

Hello again! I dropped you a line a few months back about a new synth-pop/electro night I'm setting up.
Well, I've sorted a venue now (The Moby Grape in Stockton) and was wondering if you're still keen to play one night?
God Bless - Stephen
