The seven man live rap crew that JAPRAZZ is consists of five Jazz musicians, one MC and a DJ. Within a short period of time they've managed to find a style unknown to this day in their country. Hailing from all corners of Switzerland, they delve into the well known virtues of Rap music, grab the spirit of Jazz on the way and resurface with something called innovation. Playful melodies intertwine with pumping rythms, raps clash with intrumental solos and rehearsals are never harmonious; albeit that controversy Japrazz walk that fine line that marks authenticity. Based on that and the fine beats delivered by producer and organist T.moe, MC Phylinguistart enthralls audiences with his storytelling, wordplaying, humorously ironic way of rapping. In fact, look up "stage presence" in any given dictionary and you'll find smiling back at you.
