  • Bio

Lou Reed was summed up in song about the nature of life, and that; "There's a bit of magic in everything and then some loss to even things out". I don't believe any other combination of words will ever come as close to describing the music of Jaq Gallier. She truly resides in-between the ethereal, and the real. Tales told from the analytical sense, and given full emotive from the heart. Her writing fully represents what many of us experience in her songs, LIFE itself. The honest, brutal, moments but lined with pure magic, if we choose to embrace it. Sometimes melancholic, but never anything less than richly melodic, these noir lullabies are destined to shimmer within anyone who is daring enough to breathe them in. These swirling carnivals of song will remain humming their darkly luxurious ways between your temples long after they finish. Widescreen micro epics designed to spellbind, Jaq doesn't need to write 21 stanzas to get her message flying. Her subterranean soul music is like a clean injection for the senses. It's about impact and subtleties. It scorches to every nerve because what is real is true. These soulful and moving inner bulletins come from experience, not some whimsical notion of what this sometimes bleak world is about. This music has nothing to do with genre, or class, or some infantile abbreviation of angst. Any self respecting fan of Kundera will understand. The album is being crafted as we speak, and before long it's delicate mysteries will unfold in our ears. Everybody is in Transition...these are The Melancholy Times. -AUTHOR UNKNOWN .. .......... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ............ .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ...... ......Myspace Layout Generator.. by LayoutGeneratorMyspace.com........
