About me:
Me? I'm a complex guy. I find that the one word that best describes my life is "OXYMORON." It just fits. I like the fine gentlemanly things like classical music, theatre (plays), and museums, but I also like manly things like power tools, driving trucks, and hunting. I cry at moving or touching moments in plays and movies, but I can whoop and hollar with the best of them when the Wings and Pistons are in the playoffs (if the Tigers or Lions ever improve I'd do the same for them). I find reading classical literature just as relaxing as target practicing with my Remington model 700, 30-06 rifle. Can I really be any more of an 'oxymoron?'

Who I'd like to meet:
Living people: The Pope, the President, and the Prince Charles (mainly for the photo ops, but I think i'd enjoy a good theological discussion with his "Holiness"). Tiger Woods, Ernie Els, Lefty (a.k.a. Phil Mickelson), Jack Niclaus, and Arnold Palmer would fill in the ranks of golfers. Nelson Mandella, Vladimir Putan, and the Dali Lama would be some of the wrold leaders. William Macey, John Malchovich, Kevin Spacey, Julia Roberts, Anthony Hopkins, Jennifer Aniston, and many more would be the actors. John Williams, Bono, Renee Fleming, and more would be my musicians and composers. I'll probably add more to this list as time goes on.
Dead People: (in no particular order) Igor Stravinsky, Aaron Copland, Modest Musorsky, J.S. Bach, Wolfgang Mozart, Pope John Paul, "Peter, Paul, and Mary" (the Disciple, the Apostle, and Holy Mother), Richard III (was he really disfigured?), Detrich Bonhoffer, John Wesly, Martin Luther, Martin Luther King Jr., and many more to come. I would assume that someday soome of those on the first list might have to be moved to this one...
I don't want Jesus on this list. Here's why...were all going to meet him someday anyway and part of me would like to delay that day for as long as possible.
Lastly, if I haven't meet her yet, I'd like to meet my wife...
