I grew up in a slow, small town in southeastern Pennsyvania just outside of Philadelphia. I spent my childhood playing in the woods that dominated the landscape of my town in those days. As one of seven children, I was never short of things to do and I had some of the closest friends to get into trouble with as well. Over the years, the landscape and geography of that small town have changed and brought me to desire an outlet to speak my mind or express myself.
At the age of ten, I got my first harmonica, a Hohner Special 20 in the key of C, and it changed my world forever...
I love playing music. I have since I started about 15 years ago. Harmonica was where I started, and guitar followed soon after. Since then, I have lived to try to express myself in sound, to create an autobiographical account of the sum of my experiences in life. Every thought, every perspective, every sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell. Anything I can conjure or account for, I hope to write about. And I sincerely hope you will enjoy the experience the way I have.

"Iconic" says Origivation Magazine
Some kind words by Peter J. Brown, who reviewed the cd for the UK publication, "Toxic Pete" --
...'Onwards & Upwards' by Jared Costa is an impressive piece of work - in no way could it be described as 'pretty' flowery music, it's harsh and it's bordering on angry but, it's fascinating and pretty damn compelling!"
"...His music might be best described as acoustic, folk rock and maybe even americana. One of the first things that I noticed about his music is his powerful and soulful voice. Lyrically his words are deep and rather sad. Musically the melodies are light and add an element of hope. The beauty in the simplicity and pureness of the acoustic guitar is so easy on the ears but what about that harmonica. Oh my, the harmonica adds such an incredible layer to Jared Costa’s music that is so perfect. Needless to say, it is highly recommended that you take the time to check out Jared Costa’s music for yourself."

Please submit your artist news and events to CountryHome Forum to help your artists to get well known better in Europe. If you do not have the time to submit your artist news and events by yourself, please send it me to: Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de and I will submit them by myself to CountryHome Forum.
I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
Thanks
