My name’s Jared. I live in Brooklyn, New York and make music as a member of Holy Moly, whose songs you can hear on this here myspace page.
Not much to tell in terms of a bio. I spent my teenage years playing very, very loud punk rock as part of Boston’s infamous McVeighs, then joined NYC’s Man in Gray (of whom I’m still very much a member) on bass a couple years later. I started writing these new songs late last year, and formed Holy Moly in December with Jeremy Joseph from Man in Gray and the brilliant Ms. D Chiminelli. This music’s a little quieter, as you can no doubt hear, but still rock’n’roll in its own odd little way.
Anyway, I’m heading down south in April to play these songs on...
A BIG SPRING FOLK ’N’ ROLL TOUR
Well, not that big, actually. Kinda small. 13 or 14 dates over the course of just over two weeks, spanning from DC to Austin and covering 9 states.
I’ll be touring with my good friend Gabriel Miller-Phillips, who is, not coincidentally, also a kickass singer-songwriter from Brooklyn.
I’ve posted the tour dates below. If you should happen to be in the area and want to come out, you’ll be treated to a folkin’ good time. And if you want to investigate further, you can visit Holy Moly at myspace.com/holymolysongs or Gabriel at myspace.com/gabrielmillerphillips.
