If I hear a song for the first time and enjoy it, chances are I'll get bored of it a few listens later. For me, the most profound music is the type that may sound crazy, unconventional or even ridiculous at the first few listens but grows on you over a long period of time. This tends to be underground music, I've grown a distaste for most modern popular music due to its generic format and refusal to experiment.
