I
am in a rock band called
Bowling For Soup... We are a rock band, originally from Wichita
Falls, TX. We relocated to Denton, TX many years ago and still live
in the North Dallas Area. Also in this band, and on our crew, are
my best friends on the planet. Together we travel the globe drinking
beer, making ROCK music and delivering smiles to the masses. We are
a nice bunch of dudes. Seriously, even if you hate our music you shouldn't
hate us as individuals because you would probably find hanging out
with us to be great fun, and also we are terrific at parties. Also,
Moms ALWAYS like me, which comes in handy quite a bit.
I live with my beautiful
wife, our young daughter and son... and our dog that can catch the
S**T out of a Frisbee.
Most of my friends are
either in bands, were in bands or met me in some way through a band
or friend of a band. This comes in handy when you need to borrow musical
gear.
I guess that's it.
Bet you feel like you know me as well as most of my cousins do....
you just might. Not all of them I guess but you know me. Oh... You
know me!!!
Bands that are nice and do what they do well... Diesel Boy, Flashlight
Brown, The FEDS, Feable Weiner, Bad Religion, Weezer, Slipknot, Simple
Plan, American Hi-Fi, Butch Walker, MC Lars, The Killer Dwarfs, The
Cure, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Elton John, Green Day.... This is ridiculous....
I pretty much like everything!!!
Pulp Fiction, Arthur, Drop Dead Fred, Reservoir Dogs, Snatch, Dumb
and Dumber, Anchor Man, Tommy Boy, Any movie by John Hughes. I love
movies that make me laugh or gangsta type movies (Wiseguys), but I
am also a sucker for a chick flick (Steel Magnolias, Terms of Endearment,
Officer and Gentlemen). Stand By Me, Smokey and The Bandit, Grease
I and II, Rocky I, II and III, most Eddie Murphy films made in the
80s. Oceans 11 and any movies about or including in some ways scenes
filmed in Las Vegas. All Adam Sandler films, including the more serious
roles... YES, even Spanglish!
I pretty much like
movies in general EXCEPT: any and all Star Trek movies, except THE
WRATH OF KAHN... and old westerns including John Wayne films. I do
however like a lot of new westerns (Tombstone). More of my favs...
Real Genius, The Outsiders, Porky's I and II, Bachelor Party, most
John Cusak films... leaning more towards the 80s movies. Ok I've said
way too much... Going to watch a chick flick....
Law and Order, CSI, CSI Miami, The View, The Daily Show, that freakin
NICK AND JESSICA SHOW, Different Strokes, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthiusiasm,
Arrested Development, The Young Ones, the glory years of SNL, Last
Comic Standing, SOME epidsodes of American Idol (because it makes
me want to scream), The Facts of Life, Desperate Housewives, The OC
(season 1 ONLY), Family Guy (that freakin Stuey is so Hilarious...
he's talking... he's taking over the world... he's gay... Ohhh Man...
What will he do next?). I should say that I seldom actually watch
any of these shows, but if I had the flu, or a toe removed and had
to stay in bed.... One of the above is what I would look for.
I can't read. Ok... I can read... I just choose not to, very often.
If I were to read it would be the following. Motley Crue THE DIRT,
The Catcher and the Rye, To Kill a Mockingbird, Fargo Rock City, Dude
Where's My Country, The Pleasure of My Company. Ok... I lied... I
didn't read the Michael Moore book... but I have it...It's on my list.
I am a Liar... AND, I really can read... but I type with three fingers...
My Dad, my grandpa, my brother, Nikki Sixx, Butch Walker, Zac Maloy...
Anyone that does what they love, treats people with respect, loves
their family and lends a hand when needed. All of the dudes on American
money... that must really be cool. Band that stick it out through
the bullshit... because it is fun to ROCK!!!!
