Well my main gripe about Digidesign is that their Windows PC requirements are outrageous whereas their Mac requirements are basically any Mac out there. Kinda messed up cause you gotta shell out a grand (or more) for hardware and then another grand or so for the Mac. It'd make sense if you had a professional studio but most of us home producers don't have those deep pockets lol. Maybe you can help me out and throw me some tips, like what kind of mic do you usually use to record vocals?...guitars...drums? No problem if you don't have the time, which I understand.
Hmm, never used PT mainly because my setup won't allow it (too many damn requirements from Digidesign) plus to run it you need like some $400 m-audio interface which I don't have the money for. Does PT and Acid run smoothly together?
Awesome! Finally someone else that agrees with me...I thought I was a dying breed. It's good to know there are others out there that use Acid as DAW as well. FL is pure garbage unless you're 9th Wonder! Nah I think I'm good for stuff for Acid, but what you got? I'm just curious...
