I thought your comments about teaching and schools were spot on, as was the excellent summary of ID cards: The more you try to control people, the more it gets their backs up (thus counter-productive) Also intelligent remarks on the rail network. Loved the wry quips about a certain recently-deceased music star... I wondered when that topic was going to come up! You were certainly brighter and wittier than some panelists from the music world, who've ventured forth on QT.
