  • Sounds Like

Hopefully I've developed my own sound, instead of "sounding like" someone. Usually I play blues, sometimes adding jazz, rock, or funk influences. Electric or acoustic. I also play classical and flamenco. You'll hear my various influences splattered together in different ways depending on the band I'm playing with, my mood, and where the moon currently is.

Bio:

I play guitar with Mojambus (blues with a great harmonica player), as well as instrumental trio and quartet gigs, and I do occasional solo and duo acoustic (flamenco, classical, jazz, blues) gigs. I've compiled a book of guitar fingers exercises called "Jasco's book of Finger Torture" that is designed to help your technique and increase fretboard awareness. It's for sale on my website: www.jascoguitar.com Also new on my website, I've started posted a new "guitar lick of the week", for the amusement of those of you who play. In case your wondering about the lack of fancy graphics on this page, it's because I'd rather spend my time playing music than diddling with a computer.
