"A meticulously handpicked selection of videos from artists whose music have changed lives" Stealth Magazine

"Forget low-res bootlegs online, go out and get this!" Plutonic Lab (Muph & Plutonic)

"An essential collectors item for anyone who likes to delve beneath the surface'" Maya Jupiter

A project 2 years in the making, Jasmatuph Creations are thrilled that Preserving Efforts volume 1 is finally complete and available to music fans world-wide. Featuring 14 innovative clips from around the world, including Atmosphere (US), Guru (US), Def Tex (ENG), Pete Philly & Perquisite (NED), Wordburglar (CAN), Preserving Efforts volume 1 also includes clips by 7 Australian artists including Bliss N Eso, Koolism, Muphin, TZU, Urthboy and many more. Furthermore, 13 of the 14 clips included have never before appeared in DVD format.

An Australian first in music DVDs, additional to showcasing the musical and visionary talents, the DVD gives additional information about each clip beyond what is traditionally public knowledge. By illustrating the different budget constraints artists work to being anywhere from $100 to $50,000 spent on creating a killer video clip, Preserving Efforts aims to educate as much as it does entertain.

Also included with each clip is a full list of credits; including director, the duration of time spent making each clip and the filming location, completed with an original 3D animated menu. For fans of Australian rapper Muphin, his clip ‘A Better Man’ features exclusively on Preserving Effort volume 1. Adding to this already impressive project, is the original background music produced by highly regarded Australian producers Plutonic Lab and Osinaka.

Preserving Efforts was created as an outlet for rap music fans to view some quality music video clips but became much more with over 250 hours being put into developing the unique end result. With all artists thrilled to be involved in this release, Preserving Efforts stands as hip hops definitive DVD, paying homage to the music industry’s too-often neglected art form.

A must for every hip hop, music and visual arts lover, Preserving Efforts is available 25th November 2006.

Jasmatuph Creations is the name behind many creative things, but their most prolific projects lie in the genre of rap music! When Jasmatuph Creations embarks on a project they always come original. The first major mission was the almighty THE RAP CELLA which took over 1200 hours to create. Not only does the cella break down the barriers by including hip hop from over 15 countries but it is largest and most comprehensive collection of factual information on rap artists on the web(and quite possibly in existence). Choosing to combine entertainment with education, Jasmatuph Creations is always at the front line, enlisting soldiers for hip hops ever growing army.
