In 2008/9 JVC performed in 30 venues, giving 40 performances, and watched by over 10,000 people.

JASMIN VARDIMON COMPANY MUSIC Jasmin samples music from a wide range of inspirations, sources and genres. In any one show the audience will hear an eclectic mix of classical, electrical, soul and even pop. The soundtrack to 'Yesterday', JVC's 10 year anniversary piece demonstrates the varying musical sounds that are used to accompany the physical and emotional movement Jasmin creates.

After a hugely successful 37 date tour of the new production 'Yesterday', JVC are set to embark on their European tour. The Company will tour both 'Yesterday' and 'Justitia' to venues in France, Germany and Norway. To find out more about the European dates and venues please check our website.

British Dance: Edition 2008
The company will perform JUSTITIA at BDE in Liverpool - the European Capital of Culture for 2008. Liverpool's theatres and alternative spaces will be filled with an eclectic programme of diverse and contemporary performance; profiling new and emerging work, alongside some of the more well known and established dance companies. From 30 January to 2 February 2008.

Tate Modern & Sadler's Wells
Jasmin has been offered a commission to take part in a series of collaborations between Choreographers and Fine Artists to create a new piece to be presented at the Tate Modern in Spring 08.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Jasmin Vardimon Company was founded in London in 1997 (previously Zbang) and rapidly rose to become a significant element within the British dance theatre scene.
The company is dedicated to the choreography of Artistic Director, Jasmin Vardimon – recently appointed Associate Artist of Sadler’s Wells. Renowned for her uniquely theatrical choreographic and directorial style combining physical theatre, quirky characterisation, innovative technologies, text and dance, Vardimon accentuates her work with an acute observation of human behaviour. Her creative work explores the social definitions of health, sickness, deviancy and morality. With sharp instincts and provocative daring, she has developed an individual choreographic voice, distinguished by her beautifully detailed movement, dark humour and engaging drama. The company’s works are absolutely accessible through their exposure of human experience, high quality and performances of passion, skill and commitment.
The company has performed at various festivals both nationally and internationally, touring to high profile theatres across the world.
