Other than checking out the newest releases at the movie theater, I really enjoy going out with my friends. I love to play pool, chess, Texas Hold'em, Dominos, bowling, target practice, check out shows (musicals, plays, concerts), reading (comics, magazines or novels), dabble a little bit in writing (poetry, scenes for movies, correcting the errors of other films, weird scenarios), acting (when I can), cooking (still learning, I only know a few recipes: I make a mean chicken cutlet & awesome garlic bread), trying different / new restaurants, and occasionally playing couch potato. I also like to go walking through the city and discover new parts to neighborhoods that I once thought I already knew all about.

My musical inclinations are varied at best -- Evanescence, The Hives, Keane, Cold Play, The Killers, Moby and Maroon 5. In terms of older artists- Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones, Neil Diamond, Henry Mancini, The Doors, The Beatles, Michael Jackson (Before he turned into a scary looking white woman), The Rolling Stones, The Monkees, Queen, Creedance Clearwater Revival, The Bee Gees, Guns N Roses, Jose Jose, Hector LaVoe, Willie Colon, Fania All Stars and Nina Simone. I'm also into soundtracks and one hit wonders but those are too numerous to list.

North By Northwest is my favorite movie of all time. No offense to the other classics but this one speaks to me in that it hits all the right buttons: action, suspense, humor, mystery, great acting, a tight script and excellent directing by none other than Alfred Hitchcock.
I have to say that today's TV shows have some excellent writing which is why so many big name actors are looking to do a series rather than star in a badly written film. A few of the shows I enjoy are: Human Giant, Scarred, The Shield, Rescue Me, Dexter, Real Time with Bill Maher, Def Poetry Jam, Entourage, Heroes, 30 Rock, Scrubs, Rules of Engagement, The Knights of Prosperity, South Park, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report and Mind of Mencia. I enjoy a few British TV shows as well such as Coupling, Mr. Bean & Are You Being Served?

Thanks so much for your comments and concern. It has been rough but we're just taking it one day at a time because there will have to be a morning where we wake up and things are better! Luckily we have an amazing relationship. I am so thankful for that. On a lighter note, how have you been? What's new in your world?
hey there, I miss our IM's too! I am glad everything is going well for you. Where are you looking to move? Have you proposed yet? Going freelance is awesome, but can be SO scary. My friend's husband is a freelance camera man and does well for himself, but works for like 2 months straight, then not at all for 6 months...We are naming our little bean Leilani (it means Heavenly Child in Hawaiian)...I'll probably call her Leila...
Well i'm Soooo happy for you guys! I hope you didnt take the comment the bad way. By "trouble" i mean everything a puppy is suppose to be.
