Filmmaking, livin' in LA, hiking at Griffith Park, seeing concerts at The Hollywood Bowl or The Greek Theater, people watching at Venice Beach, seeing films at The Laemmle or Q and A's at the Arclight, playing basketball and ultimate at the park or hitting 24 Hr Fitness and of course traveling. Oh and playing with my wonderful chocolate lab, Brody. He keeps me young.

Confidental, Little Miss Sunshine, Weird Science, Capote, King of Kong, etc.
Television
Okay HBO has cornerend the market as far as I'm concerned and although I miss Six Feet Under I'm crazy about: Big Love, Entourage and Sopranos. I am also hooked on LOST as well as Bravo's Top Chef. And last but not least Chappelle Show. There's probably never been something on TV as funny as the Charlie Murphy True Hollywood Stories. From Rick James bitch slapping him to Prince whipping him in basketball. CLASSIC!
Books
I just finished reading "Join Me" which I advise everyone to check out. I also just finished reading a friends book entitled "Down By The LA River" which I also highly recommend if you live in LA of course.

About me: Well MySpace seems to be all the rave these days so here I am giving it a shot. Now a little about me I'm a living cliche, a filmmaker in LA. But seriously I moved here 3 years ago to further my career and as fate would have it I just completed my first feature film which is a charming documentary about movie extras entitled Strictly Background.
The film is currently making it's rounds on the film festival circuit and has been getting overwhelming response! So needless to say I couldn't be more thrilled and hopefully it will be on everyone's local Blockbuster shelves or in their Netflix queues very soon! I plan to kickoff pre-production on my second feature film (TBA) in mid '08 but in the meantime market, promote and travel with Strictly Background from festival to festival. There's nothing like self promotion and if you don't believe in what you create than what's the point? And on that note check out the Tulsa United Film Festival, in it's 6 year history it has become one of the most popular festivals in the Midwest. And with that being said I decided to launch the LA & NYC versions; Los Angeles United Film Festival is coming up on it's 2nd year in early April '08 & New York United Film Festival will kick off it's 2nd year in August '08.
Other than that I love to travel and see the world. There's no better way to learn about things and I have a personal mission to hit everyone continent at one point or another.
Who I'd like to meet: I value frienship and in LA it's not always easy to connect with people since everyone's so busy chasing their dreams. And I have to admit I get caught up in the same trap, especially when working 12-15 hour days working on a film. However you still have to find time for others and when I meet people that share my same interests and enjoy having fun then I make time. All work and no play is not the way to being a happy person.
