Press Quotes.... "The Jason Adamo Band’s latest album, (Transistor) bulges with emotive anthems, surging melodies, towering refrains and passionate performances. This is music that would sound just fine on rock radio playlists between mainstays U2, Coldplay and Bruce Springsteen. Transistor bodes well for that possibility, with songs like “Los Angeles,” “Guilty Bystander” and “Far Away From Here” conveying the angst and conviction a stadium-savvy outfit must be able to deliver. Fortunately, the group also knows how to rein it in, as evidenced by the spunky shuffle of “Patricia” and the brittle ballads “Bring It Back” and “Innocent.” Ultimately, Transistor aims high—and happily, hits its mark." - M Music & Musicians Magazine .... ?"Transistor is a remarkably polished effort that harkens back to the classic rock era"..."with tight production work by John Briggs musicians traveling to Nashville or wherever for studio time really need to Google this guy..." - George Olsen, "The Sound" on Public Radio East (Jul 30, 2010) .... "Jason has the makings of a national level recording artist" - Grammy nominated producer John Custer.... "It’s good to hear a kid that can sing. In the endlessly expanding myspace universe of post-yourself-playing-your-older-brother’s-guitar/hear-me-sing-like-Mariah-Carey, it is good when a young artist makes you loosen the grimace on your face and say, “Hey, there really are some people out there with authentic talent.” Thank you for that, Jason Adamo. Clearly his strongest asset, Adamo’s voice is what strikes you first. When he sings, there is a tenacity and depth in his voice that forces you to pay attention; it pulls you into the room with him and makes you want to sit and listen. It is soulful yet authentic. There is no pretense or attempts to sound like anyone else. Yes his voice reminds you of Otis Redding; yes you hear the influence of Joe Cocker; yes you can picture him singing with Ben Harper; but, to be sure, there is no pretending happening here. You hear him sing and you know…ahhhh, that is Jason Adamo. You like it and you want to hear more of it." - Andrew Jed (TuneJar.com).... "Adamo has a wide range, and he's expressive, gliding between notes, lacing his warm tenor around the words gracefully." - Bryan Reed (Independent Weekly)....

    Hey Jason-
Long time no see.  I was hoping I could pick your brain for a second about NAMM.  I've never been (considering I didn't start playing until last January, this isn't a surprise), and I really have no idea what I should be doing while I'm down there.  Any advice you could offer would be awesome, and hopefully I run into you out there.

"Forever" is nice, mellow. It has a very Counting Crows vibe about it. I like it! Congrats to you and your success with your music!
