Here are a few RECENT REVIEWS!!!

"Sunflower, the new ep by the triangles own talented singer-songwriter Jason Adamo, is sure to sit well in the hungry belly of the avid music lover. The 6 song disc highlights Adamo's powerful vocal style blended nicely with bluesy, up-tempo melodies in numbers such as "Not Ready" and "Purple Sky, as well as in sweet love songs like "Jackie" and the title track "Sunflower." The good nature of the songwriter comes through in the words he writes and the emotions evoked by the tight instrumentation provided by Adamo and a host of talented musicians. Sunflower is well worth a listen...you won't be disappointed."

~Brent Jordan San Francisco based Singer/Songwriter

We have Salvatore Adamo in Belgium but in North Carolina they have Jason Adamo, a contemporary singer-songwriter in the soul music genre with his love songs and passionate singing. "Sunflower" includes six songs including an unplugged version of the first track "Purple Sky". Completed with the gospel stylings backing vocals of Beverly Kain, the emotions and sorrow drip down for that song. The voice of Jason Adamo is its most valuable instrument and his range is impressive. For the recording of this EP he could count on a broad scale of top musicians including Robert Sledge of Ben Folds Five and Lars Egon, former touring drummer for Garth Brooks. Also in the song "Jackie" the emotions incur high and the song writing skills of Jason Adamo still obvious are displayed. The title number "Sunflower" based on a melody is a beautiful ballad with again superb backing vocal of gospel singer Beverly Kain. "Purple Sky" and "Not Ready" are more uptempo, but Jason Adamo especially charms us when he cries out its heart and soul in the numbers "Sunflower" and "Jackie". The raw and swinging soul music of "Miracle" in which we think the style of Ben Harper to recognize ensures a welcome alternative. It are of course still but a limited number of songs now even if a broad future to predict for Jason Adamo and his first full-cd still that affirmative must ensure. But allows to precede us now but to state that the cards lie very favourable for this hopefull."

Currently residing in Cary, North Carolina, Jason has played shows all over the U.S. sharing the bill with various well respected artists, many of whom are listed below. As stated in his lyrics “Let the light shine on in,” Jason’s music is sure to illuminate the soul with love, passion, and rock ‘n’ roll.

Press Quotes

"The power Adamo is able to maintain at the top end coupled with his raspy falsetto and knack for writing and passionately delivering his simple yet soulful lyrics make him an artist with the potential to be somewhere between Josh Kelley and Marc Broussard." - Marion McMillan (The Cultural Intellect)

"Jason has the makings of a national level recording artist" - Grammy nominated producer John Custer

"It’s good to hear a kid that can sing. In the endlessly expanding myspace universe of post-yourself-playing-your-older-brother’s-guitar/hear-me-sing-like-Mariah-Carey, it is good when a young artist makes you loosen the grimace on your face and say, “Hey, there really are some people out there with authentic talent.” Thank you for that, Jason Adamo. Clearly his strongest asset, Adamo’s voice is what strikes you first. When he sings, there is a tenacity and depth in his voice that forces you to pay attention; it pulls you into the room with him and makes you want to sit and listen. It is soulful yet authentic. There is no pretense or attempts to sound like anyone else. Yes his voice reminds you of Otis Redding; yes you hear the influence of Joe Cocker; yes you can picture him singing with Ben Harper; but, to be sure, there is no pretending happening here. You hear him sing and you know…ahhhh, that is Jason Adamo. You like it and you want to hear more of it." - Andrew Jed (TuneJar.com)

"Adamo has a wide range, and he's expressive, gliding between notes, lacing his warm tenor around the words gracefully." - Bryan Reed (Independent Weekly)

"If none of you have ever seen Jason perform, go check him out. You're in for a treat. When he sings and plays, the dude means it.The music comes straight from his heart and soul. And that's what real music is all about." - Brent "Hog" Barham of The Okra Pickers

It was great to meet you and the guys last Saturday. You were all hitting some good licks during the two songs I was able to stay for. And doesn't it feel strange playing with a missing string?! See you soon.

Our mutual friend, Adam Pitts played in GSO last night and I did my best to spread the word among his fans about you and your gig at Box Seat tomorrow night. Without exception, they said, "If Adam recommends him that's good enough for me...I'll be there." I hope you can do some of your original material.
