Jason Frost aka J-Boom! (JasonFrost.com) Jason Frost is a musician who got his start in Olympia, Washington and attended The Evergreen State College. He was a part of the underground alternative rock scene of the early 1990s. His music is not as common or popular as fellow Olympians such as Nirvana, Marcy Playground (lead singer John Wozniak and Jason Frost shared dorm space in college), and others from Seattle. Splitting costs and sharing warehouse space formerly rented and occupied by Nirvana with his then college dorm roommate John Wozniak of the Marcy Playground, he developed a lifelong interest in creating and performing music. Lead singer and guitarist for the band Blue Moon and Company. One time occupant of Band Alley with grunge bands listed above.
In 2004, he was signed to former Steppenwolf keyboardist’s record label Statue Records Group and released a new album by his band Jason Frost & The Love Junkies.
He also runs his own publishing label, A Frosty J Productions (ASCAP), which publishes his own music in addition to numerous signed and unsigned acts for film, television, and radio licensing.
An active member of the music community, he helps promote and support charity tours at both a local and national level. Most notably has been his involvement in Morrison Music and Production’s Rock 4 X-Mas tours, a Christmas charity event helping those less fortunate (while also bringing Classic Rock and Metal bands to major North American cities throughout the US each fall). Many performers have teamed up for this charitable cause, including bandmembers from AC/DC, Anthrax, Badfinger, Great White , Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne,Metal Church, Pink Floyd, Blue Öyster Cult, Steve Miller Band, WASP and more.
He uses the aliases Jr. Boom, Junior Boom, J-Boom & others.
