Jason Beard, mandolin player for successful bluegrass band Poor Man's Whiskey, keeps himself busy with two side projects. Jason Beard Solo focuses on his acoustic instrumentals which are melodic and introspective, capturing the soul and essence of his native Sonoma County. The Jason Beard Band gets electrified and raw. Jason teams up with songwriting collaborator Ed Flores and drummer Chris Topham with other special guests for some good old fashion psycedelic rock.

HAPPY 2007! The New Year is finally here.
Heads up: Mtndawg now has 10 original songs Mastered, and Radio-ready. The new CD, "Handmade", is well on its way to being completed. The release has been moved out to allow more time recording. If all goes as planned, it will be a 2 CD set!!! Yahoo! What we need from YOU (if you are into it) is some type of short note or even a letter... commenting on Mtndawg music.
