About me:
A Washington DC native, Jason started performing as a child in many plays and musicals including Peter Pan.
As a former tumbler and US National Team member he won the 2002 US National Championships silver medal and the 2003 Canada Cup.
Jason's training in acrobatics, dance, stunts and voice led him to the world renowned Cirque du Soleil. In 2003, he began touring with Cirque's production AlegriA through North America, Japan and Europe. After more than 1,000 shows, he departed in Rome in 2006.
Cirque immediately approached Jason to star in their latest touring production, KOOZA. Working alongside Writer and Director, David Shiner, Jason created the lead role of The Trickster. He opened the tour in Canada and the U.S. and can be seen on the DVD recorded live in Toronto. In 2008, Jason parted with Cirque to pursue other artistic endeavors.
He has since appeared in promotions and commercials for The Sundance Film Festival, The Beatles Rockband, Disney, Adidas Originals, Infiniti motors and Miami1 Magazine. He also appeared with Top 40 Adult R&B star, Sy Smith, in her music video Spies.
In 2009, taking a break from stage, Jason moved to Los Angeles and began choreographing for up and coming R&B/Pop artists. His work proved to be innovative and he was asked to present a piece at the Choreographer's Ball in Hollywood.
He then collaborated and invested with Executive Producer, David Berrent, in the L.A.-based Cirque Berzerk. He served as the Assistant Director/Choreographer and built a performance and rehearsal structure for the artists. Cirque Berzerk was directed by Joshua Ryan Zehner and created by Suzanne Bernel and Emmy Award winner, Kevin Bourque. The show successfully played to sold out crowds for nine weeks in Downtown L.A. Many celebrities frequented the show including Shia Labeouf and Helen Hunt.
Jason is now working with Director Joshua Ryan Zehner in preparing a full production for LiveNation/FunnyBones Inc. to open in Stockholm in 2011.
He is also preparing a return to the stage. Jason resides in New York, NY.
