   About Jason"bluj"Thomason252
Born in new mexico raised on my dad's extensive record collection full of old Blues, rock and soul records. Started playin Guitar at age 11 shortly there after began playin professionally in clubs all over New Mexico by age of 16. Joined the Group Sugarhouse at age 17 with blues diva Jana Johns. Recorded and played steadily throughout New Mexico and Colorado with the blues power trio for close to 5 years. During this time I was also working hard to complete my AA in Music Education from San Juan College. At age 21 I decided I needed to further my career and pursue something more challenging. So I backed my bags and headed to Los Angeles where I attended G.I.T and graduated with a 4.0 in 2007! While I was there I gained much experience playing with and learning from guitar greats including Scott Henderson, Oz Noy, Albert Lee and Larry Carlton just to name a few. In Winter 2008 I toured the u.s opening for Blues legend B.B King. After sitting hand in hand with a music icon (B.B King) I decided to follow his advice and futher my education! So I'm now working on finishing my BA at Musician's Institute!! I'm Currently located in LA working and playing in the music industry as much as possible. Im playing with LA based rock group the M.O.B as well Leon Hendrix Little brother of rock God Jimi Hendrix. Im also working doing blues gigs and sessions.
