I have a story I'd rather not tell, but Yule-tide is here so what the hell..
T'was the night before Yule and all through the place, not a thing was happening but this smile on my face. And as others might wonder why I smile on this night, I sit by my fire just as high as a kite.
"T'was that damned Hobbits' leaf that got me all wrong." I pondered alone as I worked on the bong. Come Dancer and Prancer and Rudolph. (Yeah, right.) Santa can fly 'cause he's high as a kite.
What can I learn from this Yule-tide clue? That Yule-tide is better with Hawaiian Blue, and also is nice with Colombian Gold.. that spicy aroma SO goes with the cold.
T'was Yule-tide that brought me all of this wonder. I put a smile on my face and flew on up yonder. The reindeer that flew all had blood-shot eyes, and it wasn't clouds but smoke in the skies!
"A bundle, a bail on all fireplaces!", Santa exclaimed "Let's put some smiles on thier faces!" And as I type up this lyric, who should appear?!? Santa, an elf and some stoned-ass reindeer!
"We thought you might need.." Santa started to say, until I pulled out the nice miniature bail of hay. I said "Pull up a chair, this shouldn't take long." And ol' Claus coughed as he pulled off the bong.
So Santa flew off smiling a hundred miles wide, and he exclaimed with a giggle "Oh Happy Yule-tide!"
Bet I know where you'll be Tuesday night... at Cadillac Pizza Pub in McKinney, poised near Jim Schuler. Reckon you'll pick up your guitar any, too? Wish I could be there, but already committed to listen to Dustin Perkins at Main Sreet Liquid Co. in Richardson.

I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the show at Mambo's, I'm planning ahead to be off on Dec 3rd so I don't miss that one at Pearl. Pearl is more on my side of town. Ft Worth is a little drive for me. So how did it go? I hope the turnout was great.
