BIOGRAPHY: One of the first things you should know about me is that I suffer from a speech handicap known as stuttering. But instead of it being a liability, I've found it to be a great asset in the work I do. Our weakness, if we let it, can give us access to a strength beyond ourselves. Over and over we see and hear in the bible that it's through our weakness that God's strength is perfected in our lives.
ABOUT MY MUSIC...
well now... let's see... I'll just say that I love music. Always have. I'm always amazed at how it continues to move and change me after all these years. I truly believe that God gave us music to help keep our hearts working properly. We all know that our hearts can take a beating and get calloused from time to time, but music still has the power to move us and make us feel joy and give meaning to our struggles. I've gotten a lot from music, and wanted to give back. That's why I make music.
But what excites me even more than music is the work I get to do serving AIDS orphans and other vulnerable children through World Vision as one of their artists. I just returned from Africa and posted a series of blogs about my journey there, so be sure to check the archives!
