   About Jason James
The campfire mixes. These demos are as rough as they come unpracticed and very new ,all except one. Sometimes the skin and bones have to be shown and for a perfectionist like me thats a difficult thing. I hope you enjoy. my album will be finished soon but its been too long since I've shared some music, so here it goes with these ones, the meanings are mostly obvious but the smiling Skeletons is about the freedom that can be gained from embracing all parts of your existence and that beauty is in evrything,in case you think its a bit creepy,ha ha,sorry about that,anyway......stay inspired and keep loving the mystery.JJ realeditorbest profile toolsrealeditorbest profile tools

Hi Jason!
Thanks for all your kindness!
At this time of year. There is so much hypocrisy and falseness. Phoniness runs ahead and greets that which is not prepared. Unseen forces abound in relative obstruction and the flare for the hypertensive magnitude of the common, sit on many a door step. And through it all, there is God! The same now, then and always. He stands with open arms and ears, His heart full of passion and compassion. For some of us, this season is a tough one. We do things we don't want to do and wish to do things we cannot. Sometimes change can be an exhilarating part of life. Sometimes change is hard. We can resist change, get angry at it. We can feel ashamed of it or be afraid of it. We tell ourselves "It's to tough, I can't do it!" But i believe that change is a very necessary part of life. Especially when it comes to being "Born Again". Given a new chance at life. No longer do we live in bondage to our addictions and bad habits. We need no longer run in fear of relationships. We don't have to live as though we were responsible for the world! We can learn serenity, contentment and find freedom from the lake of fire. We can experience love and share it! Our capacity to change is the key to our hope. God has given us thee ability to change and grow. He calls us to change. He gives us the perspectives and disciplines and encouragements we need. They can come from many places. As we HAVE allowed and invited Him in, God Himself now strengthens us. He works within to heal us and make us new. I wish you a new-renewed you, full of strength, compassion, gratitude and Spirit!

Happy Holidays,

Hi Jason!
Hope you are well my friend!
Shouldn't every day be a celebration?Another day that the Lord has mercifully allowed, in the hope of saving even just a few more souls. How about this so called "Thanksgiving?" Is it about pilgrims and Indians? Turkeys? Family? The word itself reminds me of what I do everyday. Each time I wake up from sleep I give thanks. Each time I come home from anywhere including work or the store I give thanks. Each time I indulge in a meal I give thanks. Each time I receive grace I give thanks. Each time I perceive love I give thanks. In my opinion, mankind needs to really begin to take a long good look around. The world just ain't that complicated. Can technology stop a tornado? Those who know truth should speak it. Samuel Johnson stated this "Unless a man has courage, he has no security for preserving any other virtue." Courage is the basic virtue. Of what use is wisdom if you don't have the courage to act wisely? Of what value is love if you don't have the courage to love?Of what value is truth is you don't have the courage to speak it? Of what consequence is faith without the courage to embrace it? God is real!
Keep on looking up,

Some food for thought:
The word companion is rich and meaningful. I comes from two words: com, which means "with," and pan,
which means "bread." A companion is someone with whom we share bread.
In ancient days, to invite someone to partake of your food was in invitation to friendship. Companionship is freely offered and freely chosen. We cannot choose our family, our relatives, or our neighbors, but we are, as Emerson said, "the architects our our own friendships."
It is important to be selective when choosing "the company we keep." Our
companions have more influence on us than any other people. All of us
have heard of "peer pressure": the power of our associates and friends
is enormous. The best friend we have of course is Jesus! He is our
"Divine Companion" the one we break bread with in Holy Communion and
also the one who gives us other companions in this life, namely, The
Holy Spirit. I need not tell you about that. For you already know His
purpose.
God's grace,

Jason, As you know by know I do not preach, nor do I boast. I am not by any means a self proclaimed Prophet, Apostle, Evangelist, Minister, Pastor or Priest. I am simply a child of God. With the same hopes and dreams, trouble and struggles as you. With this being said I'd like to share with you something very profound to me. From the book of Romans and the heart of Paul, one of God's greatest servants."I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate, I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do: no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law but: i see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God--through Jesus Christ Our Lord!" (Chapter 7: 15-25 N.I.V.)
Yikes! I thought I had some deep thoughts! lol
What Paul is saying here is so so deep. I'm not gonna try and explain
it to ya. But I think if you read it carefully and think about who he
was sending it to. (This is from his letter to the Romans whose land at
that time was full of every horrific kind of sin imaginable) It becomes
quite understandable. When you communicate with someone, it's easiest,
when you speak their language.
God's grace,

Hey Jason!
Thanks for being you and for giving us all such incredible wonderfully original music!

A thought:
God indeed can and does often use brokenness to build and/or rebuild.Tears are an amazing thing really. They allow those around us to see what's going on.They indulge not the dilemma of the hidden but instead, profess to all that we are emotionally equal in our realms of sadness, joyfulness and gladness. Tears can say so much.
We learn a lot from the parables that Jesus told. Some of them long and seemingly complicated.

But, we also learn so much from just two words:" Jesus weep."

Hi Jason,

I thought of you today.
Thank you for your comments.
Thank you so much for your love and support.
I pray for you everyday!
You are a precious soul with a big heart.
I have something to share this day;

Too often, we try to gain a clear perspective before it's time.
That will make us crazy.
We do not always know why things are happening the way they are.
We do not always know how a particular relationship will work out.
We do not always understand the source of our feelings.
Or why we've been led down a particular path, what is being worked out
in us, what we are learning, why we need to recycle, why we had to wait,
why we need to go through a time of discipline, or why a door closed.
How are present circumstances will work into the larger scheme of events is not always clear to us.
That is how it needs to be!

Perspective will come in retrospect. We could spend hours today trying to find the meaning of something
that will come to us in an instant next week, next month or a year later.
Let it go. We must let go of that need to figure everything out, to feel in control.

For now is the time to be, to feel. To go through it.
To allow things to happen.
It's time to learn, to let whatever is being worked out in us take it's course.
In hindsight, we will know. It will become clear. For today, being is enough.
We can trust that things will work out for our good, even if we cannot see the place
that today's events hold in the big picture.

Keep on looking up!
I'll see ya on the bus!

God's grace,
face

Hey Jason,

I am so fortunate to have your friendship!

I've been so busy lately.
I'm doing a lot of writing.
It's great to help others.
In fact, we are commanded to do so.
But sometimes we need a break.
To find some "Me" time.

In this day and age it seems so many people are rushing. Everyone's in a hurry.
Jesus called us to follow Him in action but also to inaction--to get some rest! (Mark: 6: 30-31 N.I.V.)
God created rest in creation and devoted a Holy Day to rest and relaxation. In fact, God Himself
rested on the seventh day and made rest itself Holy.

We modern people have trouble resting, relaxing and seeking serenity in solitude. We tend to soothe ourselves with people, activity and noise. Yet we are also meant to be still. Jesus invited his disciples, "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest." He said this because "so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat." (Mark: 6:31 N.I.V.) Nowadays, the way we "grab a bite" and "eat on the run", it is no wonder we have so many stomach disorders. We need to slow down.

Do something nice for yourself.
Relax!
Be of good cheer.

God's grace,
face
