Jason started singing at 9 years old and was always involved in some musical, creative, or artistic adventure. From the influence of his father’s musical background, blues, James Taylor, and the Beatles, to inspiration he found within his siblings and many teachers, Jason found that he really had “the voice” around 12 or 13 years old. He continued on through school and his teen years studying and working towards a career in music theatre, and the combination of Jason’s singing, acting and dancing made him a triple threat.
After recording a classical voice audition tape for college enrollment applications, Jason was approached by Touch Thru Glass Productions and began work on his first CD, “Searching”. This record is a culmination of years of studying music theatre and classical voice blended with an appreciation for modern rock and alternative pop, but with a sharper edge.
Jason described “Alive”, in a recent interview, “The passion, energy, and melancholy sound expresses one side of me, and a somber, darker person that is within me as well, “Alive”, really reflects both aspects.” This duality continued into production of the next single, “One Last Kiss”. Jason describes this duality, “This was the first expression for me in a crossover genre, as a poet I like to integrate into the music that strong romantic quality.”
Jason is also a songwriter, and is co-writing some of the tracks for his upcoming CD. “It comes in bursts…”, explained Jason, “..inspiration hits me and it comes rushing out, then I have to fine tune it, I really try to elaborate the underlying music with the same intensity in the vocal performance.”
Jason's vocal performance glides from sweet and warm to powerful and majestic with ease and grace, enveloping and capturing you within the song. Jason loves to perform and is excited to be working with the Colorado Light Opera this summer and will be continuing work on his CD throughout the year.

Hi my friend! I have a new blog! Though it is written in Spanish, it has a traslator, so you'll be able to read it in English! Leave me a comment there!:) http://ladyghost-elviolinnegro.blogspot.com/
Aloha handsome. I have been thinking about you lately and wonder how you have been doing? If you get a moment stop by and say hello. Blessings to you sweetie. Carmie
All through the night they sought the light that would guide them for they were lost in the deep dark forest surrounded by snow. They only knew that it was imperative that they keep moving as it was getting colder now and soon it wouldn't matter because they had lost hope of ever finding shelter. So cold and tired they knew they were soon to die without the guidance of something greater than you and I.
Having no choice exhausted and scared they continued forward shivering as they walked side-by-side. All at once in the distance they saw something glowing in the cold brisk air. At first they thought it was a light but then to their despair it was Sister Aurora.
Little did they know, Aurora was showing them the way to the cabin not so far away. Their spirits uplifted they quickened the pace. Now their faces turned upward in praise seeing at once the face of an angel with rainbows, stars, and planets in her hair. She was gliding beside beloved Aurora both guiding them there to safety, a fire, and some company with plenty of everything they needed and would share.
Fear not please do not despair there is always hope when you thought no one was there. Just open your eyes and hearts and you will hear the sound of love forever it is always there it’s in the air and everywhere.
Aloha Jason! What a fantastic photo of you handsome! You look marvelous. I am stopping in to wish you a happy holiday season. Much love and blessings, Carmie
