Jason Kent is a 24 year old musician with a passion and love for the different shapes and colors that music contains and gives to him. A fan of many styles and different aspects he never limits himself to any one style or genre. He has a deep understanding of music as well as a very personal and complex emotional relationship to the music he shares. Some say he is "FAR-OUT" or "WAAAAY DOWNTOWN", or they just plainly don't pick up what he is throwing down. He is definably a "people-reflector". The more they tug, the more he gives.
He is the current front-man of the popular Twin Lakes band Braided Funk.
He is also the Ringleader of his "Flying Circus" that you can catch playing in the south-east region of Wisconsin. It's more of a showcase of the areas finest musicians. They come from all different local bands including-Matt Meyer(Smooth Riders), Steve "Rainman" Rainey & Alonzo Smith(Real Deal), Don Miller(Acoustic Soul), Mark Ruck & Mike Mantis(Braided Funk), Mykel Alexander(Yahoo!!!), Phil "BOOB-BOOM" James, Evan Priday, and the list goes on.....He hosts an open jam @ 1146 (Kenosha,Wi) that welcomes all styles but revolves around a"FAR OUT FUNKY ROCK JAM" angle. You can occasionally catch him on the weekends with The Real Deal band as well. You could say he is somewhat of a "musical gypsy". Noted in the local news as one the areas most busiest musicians, sometimes going every night for weeks on end. It's his love, passion, fetish, addiction, and way of life. He defines "the eccentric artist" by his feisty character and unpredictable personality. You must meet him and experience him in all forms and situations to truly capture the essence.

The 3Gs ('aka Grateful Garcia Gathering), is returning back to the Camp NCN Venue in beautiful Black River Falls Wisconsin July 30th though August 2nd 2009 where it all began over 6 years ago! A grateful place where Garcia fans will be gathering! It also marks the celebration of Jerry Garcia's 67th Birthday, plus the 14th Anniversary of Jerry's untimely passing. We have leased the campground venue for July 30th though August 3rd 2009 for our 6th annual music festival.
Other great music festivals have hosted at this venue such as Weedstock, Farmapalooza, Big Wu Family Reunion, Campout Roots Festival,just to name a few!
