Those who appreciate music for everything it is, and everything it can be, will appreciate the music of Jason LaPorte. Plethoras of styles and genres flow together to create a sound that will make you move to the riddim and fall captive to the sweet sound. Indie, alternative, reggae, blues, jazz, and hip hop influence a style that I like to refer to as my own “organic-indie-roots music.” My main goal is to create great music that will move you in more ways than one, and in a good way.
There are two performing entities to Jason LaPorte Music. I play solo acoustic and I play electric, backed by two of the best musicians in the Northwest Ohio region. Dan Brenner steps away from his main instrument, the guitar, to play bass. Dan also plays guitar for The Tides. The talented Andrew Smith plays drums and percussion. We three are known as Jason LaPorte Trio, the j.laporte3, and/or The Trio!
