JOHN GRIFFIN: THE KEY, SLOW DOWN, SHE COULD TAKE ME, TOO TENNESSEE, AND WHISKEY'S ADVICE
With more than 13 years of country songwriting experience in his corner, John Griffin is one of the most talented and genuine songwriters to come out of Nashville in recent years. John's writing comes from a place that is honest, true to life and sincere - his heart. During the past year, John has been working on a separate project, personalized ringtones. These ringtones are recorded in studio and are customized to the requestor's specifications. These are unique and unlike anything else on the market today. Growing up in Nashville and having a father (Billy Montana) who also took on songwriting as a career, Randy just wants to make a name for himself and write songs that are true to his heart. Throughout high school he had other plans for his future like sports and going on to college, but at the age of 19 Montana started playing in bands for fun. Soon after, he realized music was something he wanted to do full-time and started writing more frequently with the intentions of landing a publishing deal. He is now one of the biggest up and coming singer/songwriters in Nashville and is enjoying a successful music career.
J. Juliano is a country singer/songwriter/producer from Chicago, IL. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Juliano moved to Nashville for a few years before heading to Chicago. He has shared the stage with such country music greats as Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Diamond Rio, Toby Keith and a host of others. Juliano's mission is to bring positive message music to the masses. J has his own studio and produces/engineers/writes/sings/performs instrumentation on all of his songs. J is currently in the new band, Slamabama and the lead artist in the children's country band, Little Nashville.

Will McFarlane: Former Bonnie Raitt Guitarist and Featured Guitarist/Friend on the "Slow Down" CD.
Will McFarlane spent six years playing guitar with Bonnie Raitt, from 1974 to 1980. McFarlane learned how to listen as well as play while in Raitt's band. His musical education was a versatile one, encompassing straight blues, country blues, folk, country, rock 'n' roll, as well as singer-songwriter material. Raitt was sharing stages with living blues legends, and McFarlane soaked up as much as he could from them before and after the gigs. McFarlane left Raitt to move to Muscle Shoals, Alabama, playing on records for Bobby Blue Bland, Little Milton, Etta James and Johnnie Taylor as part of the famed Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section. McFarlane continues to work in secular and gospel music, both traditional and contemporary styles and works in Muscle Shoals, Nashville, and other places around the country and world, as well as doing many sessions and live performances in the Raleigh/Durham area. He was just recently inducted into the Musician's Hall of Fame in Nashville as a friend of the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section (The Swampers). Jason Marks' music career began when he combined his true passion, country music, with a necessity for work, which at the time was hard to find . . .so he took out a small loan, bought a PA and a guitar, and began performing locally during his college years.
Now, after years of working to build a career with his passion for music through
his solo efforts and with the band Far Too Jones, Jason is hitting his stride
with a new band and a new album. Released in 2008, Slow Down is comprised of songs written by Jason, along with some of the hottest up-and-coming songwriters in Nashville, such as John Griffin, Arlis Albritton, J.Juliano and Randy Montana.
Slow Down was produced and engineered by Jason Merritt, who has worked with numerous national artists such as Dr. Dre, Courtney Love, Paul Westerberg, Anastacia and HotHotHeat. The album features guitarist Will MacFarlane, who worked for years as Bonnie Raitt’s guitarist, along with Brett Waress and Randall Johnson, current members of the Jason Marks Band, who fill out the rhythm section on the new album. Madison Bunting was added to the lineup on guitar and harmony vocals.
The Opportunities Continue To Emerge. . . In August 2008, the Jason Marks Band was invited by Kenny Chesney's Next Big Star coordinators to perform in the opening spot for Leann Rimes and Kenny Chesney as part of the Poets and Pirates Tour at the Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion in Raleigh, NC. With a steady stream of live performances and significant radio airplay in central and southeastern North Carolina, the popularity of the Jason Marks Band continues to grow. The rest, as they say, is history in the making...
