Just after I was born there was apparently a hot soap opera character called "Jason" and a lot of kids a year or two younger than me got named Jason too. I once lived in an apartment where there were more Jasons than otherwise. We started going by our last names, and that is why many people know me as "JBall." I've played in lots of bands and produced bands too. My band is Hopeful Monster. Some of the bands I have played in or recorded are Holden Wheeling, Spoondaisies, Living Water Assembly, By Divine Right, Fat Horses, Heavy Blinkers, Guthries, Hylozoists, Lily Frost, Wilderness... Whenever the hectic lifestyle of an unknown rock band momentarily subsides, I give solo performances on acoustic guitar or piano, plus clunky vintage electronic gadgets when possible. If you are very lucky you might catch a rare appearance of the family act "JBall & Chain." Come check it out! .. ........
