Here's the first crude yet charming attempt at converting Deterrent Comics stories into the cartoons as we always envisioned them. Art quality improves as we get to more recent stories--but the quality of the original music in the cartoons does NOT improve because even at this early stage it is already AWESOME!
Jason's songs have been played on such high-wattage, actual commercial radio stations as 105.9 WCKG FM Chicago (Steve Dahl show).
For many more of Jason's originals, including Dogs With Human Heads, Fish Fry Bloodbath, etc., etc., go to this page!
HOWEVER.... Till recently Jason spent much more of his time as the upright (and electric) bass player in the Chicago area for the rockabilly band Susie Gomez and the Alley Cats, which continues to play every other Friday in Chicago at the California Clipper.
And here I am back in 2006 with Everett Dean, Andy Trippi, and Josh Trevino performing on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, live on NBC 5 News.

The Crown Vics are performing a FREE all ages show this Sunday May 3rd.
It will be at the Oak lawn Public Library, indoors at the lower level meeting room.
The Oak Lawn Library hosts musical acts here quite frequently. The room holds 320 people and this is the first time they are have a band that plays 1950’s Rock & Roll. This is an all ages show, early in the afternoon, and free. So this would be the best opportunity to bring the kids and family to see the Crown Vics.
There is a large parking lot, weather looks good, so drive on over with your old jalopy and show it off. Vintage attire is optional but appreciated, and of course there is plenty of room to dance…so I have been told.
Plenty of our new CDs will be available, $10 for 20 songs, that’s a deal.

Also, mention that you are a fan of the Crown Vics and you will receive 10% off your food bill during the show.
