My musical interests nearly run the gamut of genres - my itunes library includes rock, heavy metal, alternative, anything from the '80s, and is complimented by jazz, blues, and classical. Some of my favorites are The Beatles, U2, The Eagles, Chet Baker, Miles Davis, and even Mozart.
Movies
I love a wide variety of films. A great film affects me by either making a profound statement and hitting home or by being funny, clever, or scary and entertaining the heck out of me for a few hours. I love European filmmakers as much as I love the current wave of American independent filmmakers, and I have loved horror films since I was a kid. I am also a fan of silent films. Some of my favorite films include, Goodfellas, Midnight Run, Buster Keaton's The General, Back To The Future, Jaws, and Johnny Dangerously. Favorite directors include Buster Keaton, Alfred Hitchcock, Martin Scorcese, The Coen Brothers, Fritz Lang, and FW Murnau.
All-time favorites are Three's Company, Wings, and NFL football. In recent years, nothing has captured my faithful weekly attention, but if I am tuned in I'm most likely watching something on the Travel and Discovery Channels, something about poker, local and national news, football, or movies on the Independent Film Channel.
Books
I am usually reading anywhere between a half-a-dozen to a dozen books at any given time. Since I am a writer and my work requires research, the material often coincides with the subject matter I intend to write about. As for hobby subject reading, I read biographies of filmmakers, books about poker, Buddhism, Wicca, filmmaking, writing, poetry, and I try to read the dictionary consistently throughout the week. Books I recommend - "Zen In The Art Of Archery" by Eugen Herrigel and "Bloods" by Wallace Terry.
Heroes
My grandparents and my parents for teaching me the values of love, generosity, and hard work; my wife - the warmest, strongest, most compassionate, most supportive person in the universe - for proving to me every day what the human spirit is truly capable of accomplishing; my big brother who is an L.A. City firefighter. As for historical figures, I consider Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. a hero for his accomplishments and sacrifices in trying to make our world a better place for everyone.
I have amassed a small body of short and feature film work as an actor, writer, producer, and director. I enjoy transforming myself on film and interpreting snippets of life through the eyes of multifarious cinematic characters.
My attitude is mostly amiable. I like to surround myself with close friends and family members who help restore my faith in humankind and basically make my life more pleasant.
A LOOK BEHIND THE SCENES

Who I'd like to meet:
People from all walks of life - different races, cultures, backgrounds, interests, etc. As long as someone has something interesting, intelligent, life-changing, or incredibly funny to say, then you've won my attention.
I'm not the type that gets star struck. There are two famous people I can think of that I'd like to meet: Paul McCartney, since the Beatles have had such a profound effect on music history and modern pop culture, and Amy Heckerling, since I and my close group of friends have a million questions about Johnny Dangerously.
Love you cousin. Happy new year! Tell Sally I said hi, and kiss those beautiful babies for me. And yes I am drinking plenty of water and eating plenty of food! haha Love you so much!
