Jason Roach, musical visionary releases this self-titled CD, Project X S as an offering of depth, passion, and extreme experience of pain and pleasure to the ‘n-th’ degree. A vast array of sonic indulgences can be traced through this ten-song recording, with such styles as Jane’s Addiction, Stone Temple Pilots, and The Verve and Radiohead, to name as some of the artists homage. This CD has great potential to break the mold of the ‘neo-psychedelic’ world of rock.
After leaving San Francisco in 1997, coming off of an Atlantic Records developmental deal with a Rave-Psychedelic Rock band called TRIPSTAR (THE SUN, previously), Jason Roach came to Alaska to break away from the plagues of living on the main artery of the Lower Haight-Ashbury scene. After residing in Girdwood, Alaska for the past seven years, leading the locally successful Ska/Reggae band ’First Trax’ and performing as a solo artist throughout Alaska, a seemingly perfect marriage and son to follow up a life-changing incident of chronic pain from multiple back surgeries. The result; the breakup of his new family.
The emotion bleeds through the music as a primordial drive. The healing and will to rise above and accomplish an artists dream lies deeply within Jason Roach and his vision as an elite performer/songwriter.

Actually i'm at the southern tip of NJ on the Beach and this is where i'm based when i'm not in Europe probably the rest of the year. Planning on a recon trip to Costa Rica this fall for sure. I'm engaged now and we don't know where we are moving. I want it to be Costa where I can live on one month's ship pay for a whole year!! June-October here :)
Thanks Man. Been writing up a storm and in light of the fact I haven't the time or space to get anything recorded, I've decided to do live raw vids and put them up of over 30 tunes. I will get the rest done between now and the end of Aug. When I head back to Europe for a month. I'm not living in Alaska anymore though. How are you man?

What do you have going for Muzak these days? I just talked to jared today. Sounds like he's having a great time in NY. I'm not really doing anything music wise. Well, not entirely true... Luc and I play drums almost every day and I recorded a bunch of songs a couple of weeks ago. They are on my facebook page if you want to check it out. Next year ill make a big music comeback.
