| General | Through the years, I have done many interesting things. I was an Air Force officer, including a tour in Viet Nam . As a Fuels Management Officer, I was responsible for all the petroleum products used on an air force base. In my off-duty time, he raced motorcycles in the Mid-West and had the largest live collection of poisonous and non-poisonous reptiles in Viet Nam . I has been a private pilot; a progressive-rock disc jockey; an actor, a singer, an ice hockey player; a licensed, single-parent foster parent; a practitioner of Tai Chi Chuan; and a welding sculptor. I has had other work experiences including being a farm hand, a car salesman; an undercover narcotics investigator, a private detective, an owner/operator of a mobile windshield repair business and a facilities manager of a manufacturing plant. Other than that, I has led a pretty dull life.
| | Music | Very eclectic. Jazz, rock, pop, duwap, big band, etc. Having been a radio progressive rock disk jockey in the early 1970s, I am partial to that era of music. I have about 2000 LP vynil records and counting. I can't stay away from the $1 record bins. I especially like the music of PolarTwin(http://polartwin.com ) because it is great music that I describe as RadioHead meets King Crimson,meets Pink Floyd with a little Emerson, Lake and Palmer thrown in. I would like it even if it was not my son, Manuel's band and his music. | | Movies | I'd rather act in them than see them. Can see them for free and still don't go. | | Television | I like the CSI, Numbers, Crossing Jordan, The Unit type shows. Don't call me during them! | | Books | I don't read a lot. Mainly tech magazines. | | Heroes | My 11th grade English teacher, Miss Mary Gaffney and the Drama teacher, Mr. Steven Billig. Without them, I wouldn't of survived high school in the late 1950s (If you weren't The Fonz, they weren't such "Happy Days").
My surrogate mother of the last 15 years, Sparkle. May I have the courage to walk through lifes adversities and succeed like she did. She was a wonderful actress, friend and mentor. (read about her at http://jasonwittman.com/memorium.htm )
My parents who were a perfect model of how to have a perfect relationship.

About me:
To say my life is multifaceted world be quite accurate. A quick look at
my brief biography will confirm that statement. I live and work in a number of different worlds at the same time. There is Jason the youth program director and therapist, Jason the life enhancment coach, Jason the actor, Jason the father, Jason the singer, Jason the 12 step old timer, Jason the poet, and Jason the professional photographer. Very few people know me as the multifaceted person I am. They just know that part of me that interacts with them. I am partially the cause of this. I have kept these different things I do separate from each other. I even have a number of website. I thought that the time had come for me to have a website that was about all of me, my interested, my opinions, my skills, my life.
