Jasper Leyland is the alias of sound-explorer
Jonathan Brewster, who currently resides in York (U.K.). Moving between a variety of
instrumental sources such as zither, chimes, melodica,
acoustic and electric guitars, and accordion, Brewster
extracts fragments of sound before applying restrained
digital processing, layers of field recordings, and
other incidental aural flotsam, to craft organic
compositions.

For my part, I'm less busy actually, around 20 featurings tracks are done, so it will be the best moment to begin this...! Tell me when you will be ready for this and if you prefer than I send you the first part, or if you are ok to send your first part.

I would like to propose you this :
I'm preparing the second session of a featuring self-produced album with bands or musicians.. The first session of The Clyde Parker Project was been finished during august 2009 with 22 artists from 13 countries..
If you are interested, I would be thrilled.
This second session will be in a "quiet atmosphere", like electro-acoustic, ambient, minimalist or shoegaze, but less noisy than the first (there will have some "noisy" tracks in the first session..) and there will have some more instrumentals tracks. Always in an eclectic spirit but with a same point of view or a direction or a particular atmosphere (for this one it could be winter..) than the first Clyde Parker.
Artists are from various horizons & practices and my purpose is to have a real & coherent music project with this.
So, tell me what are you thinking for this, and if you are ready & interested we could try, for one featuring track together (it will be by e-mail : a piece of sound by link, download it, work with it, upload the stuff again, send a link back, etc.)
Each sessions are like this : July or December. The next is for December 2009, and then July 2010,etc.. (the final project will have 5 sessions) Each session are with different artists.
My proposition for you is for the next in December 2009 or if you are very busy for later.. There will have between 20/25 artists for this second edition, like the first. The dead line will be for the begining of December...So, there are 3 months to do this..
