MySpace a place for friends

I was born in the city of Caracas (Venezuela). I was only three when i went living to Portugal. I started singing at home when i was nine and the guitar came six years later...since then i knew music would always be a part of me. I had two bands before, Mr. Strange (earlier college) and id Portico (later). We've earned a very good reputation, even without a released album, and we've performed with a lot of good bands, including Travis.

In 2003 i started my solo career and became kinda "one man show". I've recorded the EP Contos de Saturno (2004) and later my first album, called Room Session (2006). I'll be living in Brazil for a couple of years...i'm planning to record a new album here. I'm writting my new songs and i'll be producing some brazilian new becomers.

My major influences come from Bowie, Radiohead, Iggy Pop, Slowdive, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Tori Amos, The Cure, Pixies, Placebo, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, The Smiths, Sinatra, Debussy, Tom Jobim, Sétima Legião and many other great bands and musicians. So, how can i describe my music? I guess it's pop and rock with something from the past heading to an incertain future...

My friends say i'm a talented man with a great voice and good skills to entertain with the guitar. I don't know much about that, but i am sure about my passion for music. I write my own songs and lyrics, and i also produce and record at my home studio. I'm a performer and it feels great to be on stage. Besides that, i work in civil engineering and design projects but my main goal is music. I love art and computers.
