| General | I know that it may appear that I am one of the worlds biggest a_ _ holes, and at times I'm sure there is some definite truth to that. But I honestly don't try to be. It is a natural talent that I am cursed with. Believe it or not, it served me well in the military and may have kept my butt among the living while in Iraq. But I am making attempts to upgrade from a_ _ hole to jerk, for my wife and kid's sake if no one else's. | | Music | Country, Classic-Rock | | Movies | Too many to list; generally I like movies that make a point. My favorite movie of all time is "Once Upon A Time In America." I also like smart comedies; not stupidly ridiculous ones. Then again, I've been known to sit down and watch corny romantic-comedies too, like "Fools Rush In." And even though I have openly stated my aversion to the human race, I even like well done, heart rending movies like "Raise your Voice," or "Save the last dance." | | Television | Bill O' Reilly- As far as I see, he's "one of the few" in the media, with not many exceptions, that tell the truth and are looking out for "the regular folks." | | Books | Again; too many to list, but I like to read George R.R Martin, Tom Clancy, and even Stephen King back in the day. King's book "IT" turned me away from clowns for life.
I also read many political and current events books by a wide variety of authors. | | Heroes | Heroes is probably a little strong of a word, but I admired people like; Ronald Reagan, Winston Churchill, Charlie Wilson, and Margaret Thatcher was one tough lady. Though I don't agree with Hillary Clinton's politics or some of her early business practices, I think she would be a much better president than the guy who finds himself poised to possibly become America's first Socialist president. |
