The JavaMusiK Label markets & distributes a collection of music and merchandise created by composer/arranger/pianist
Jeff Van Devender.
Since 1998, Van Devender has created and marketed 3 instrumental cd's of original and traditional piano-based music.
These cd's are available for purchase at CDBaby. Please stop by and purchase a cd. That helps us continue and afford to release quality product.
Currently living in western Colorado, Van Devender frequently plays piano for events in resorts like Aspen, Vail, Beaver Creek, Winter Park, Estes Park and nearby communities such as Carbondale, Fort Collins, Glenwood Springs, New Castle & Grand Junction.
Jeff graduated from high school in Oskaloosa, Iowa & received a BA Degree in Music Business from Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State University) in Kirksville, MO. During his time there, he also worked for KTVO Television in news & production. Upon graduation from college, he dropped everything & moved to Colorado where he could be near the mountains which had been beckoning his heart for years, even regretfully driving the ultimate wedge between him & his former college sweetheart.
Eventually, after stints in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as a music store manager & sales rep. for the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, music education became his career. While guaranteeing food on the table and a roof over the head, he found a deeper desire going yet unfulfilled. This is where the eventual formation of JavaMusiK took root. Melodies were always forming between the fingertips whenever they would make contact with the ivories.
Now, 3 cd's have been recorded & JavaMusiK with the recent completion & release of Don't Ever Forget. In addition, JMK Ceremony Music has been formed, providing music for weddings and other events. The newly formed Alpine Road Publishing has released several piano transcriptions of JavaMusiK releases as well as several other manuscripts. Stay tuned for more upcoming releases through the upcoming months!
Colorado continues to be his current adopted home with a beautiful family including his wife & 2 daughters.

..Hey it's your buddy Mike Falzone (no one says buddy anymore). I just wanted to give you my record "Fun with Honesty" for free. I'd also like to give you an obnoxiously long hug, but due to our proximity, I don't think that can happen today. Please give it a listen. If I'm ever famous one day you can say, "Hey! That loser gave me his album for free!"... then you can laugh at everyone who paid $20 for it at Best bUY. Have a great day!
